Algerian Journalists Committee for Breaking Siege On Saharawi Struggle
Algerian Journalists Committee in solidarity with Takbar Haddi has invited journalists across the world to act so to break the silence and siege imposed on the struggle of Saharawi people, in a petition addressed to the United Nations.
In a press conference held in the Saharawi media center in Algiers on Thursday, the Committee called for action to ensure the respect for international legitimacy in Western Sahara and the right of the Saharawi people to freedom and independence.

Zimbabwe Reaffirms Firm Support to Legitimate Saharawi Struggle
Zimbabwe Foreign Affairs Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi on Tuesday reaffirmed his country’s firm support to the legitimate struggle of the Saharawi people for freedom and independence, said a statement of the Saharawi embassy in Harare.

In a meeting with Saharawi Ambassador Deich Mohamed Saleh, the minister indicated that Zimbabwe is clear that Moroccan occupation of Western Sahara is illegal and contradicts the resolutions of the United Nations (UN) and African Union (AU).
