South Africa Commemorates National Child Protection Week from 30 May to 6 June 2021. This is to highlight children’s rights as per the South African Constitution and the Children’s Act (Act No. 38 of 2005). Everyone in South Africa should enjoy equality and dignity and children should be protected from abuse, exploitation, and violence. Covid-19 has increased children’s vulnerability. This year’s theme is: “Let us all Protect Children During Covid-19 and Beyond”.
