SALO is deeply saddened by the passing of comrade Khaya Xaba, spokesperson for the National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union.
As an internationalist, he dedicated his life to fighting for a more just society and world, especially for those who are vulnerable and marginalised. Known for his quick wit and unflinching resolve on issues pertaining the poor and working class, Khaya Xaba was an exemplary leader that future generations should emulate.
The Southern African Liaison Office dips its banners to mourn his passing. We extend our condolences to NEHAWU, his friends, and family.
