An Amnesty International delegation paid a working visit to the occupied territories of Western Sahara and held a meeting on Monday with the Sahrawi Association of Victims of Grave Violations of Human Rights Committed by the Moroccan State (ASVDH), according to Sahrawi human rights sources.

Pan African Lawyers Union affirms support for Saharawi people’s right to self-determination
The General Assembly of the Pan African Lawyers Union called for the protection of human rights in the Western Sahara and support for the Saharawi people’s right to self-determination.
The Pan African Lawyers Union called in a final statement at the end of the work of the General Assembly which was held in Yaounde (Cameroon)” to put an end to the violations of human rights in the Saharawi occupied territories and exploitation by the Kingdom of Morocco of the resources of the Western Sahara, which is contrary to international law.”
