Saharawi rights association meet with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights

Representatives of the committee of families of Gdeim Izik detainees and the association for the protection of Saharawi prisoners in Moroccan prisons met Wednesday with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Navanethem Pillay, in Rabat.

Attended by the Saharawi activists Al-Mashdufi Mustafa and Abdelrahman Zayu, the meeting focused on the condition of health of Gdeim Izik detainees and the policy of procrastination pursued by the Moroccan state against them.

Norwegian delegation visits occupied Western Sahara

The delegation composed of Ingrid Hodnebo, Government Chief Executive Officer at Norway Supreme Court, and Anne Museng Knutsen, first counselor to North Africa department. Staying in the Territory until May 31st, the delegation will hold talks with several Saharawi associations and organizations of human rights.
